Our client is actively seeking to recruit a Litigation Lawyer. You will be dealing with a mixture of Civil and Criminal Litigation within the public sector, so it will be a varied role with a mixed and interesting caseload. Experience in prosecuting and defending civil litigation on behalf of public bodies would be a big advantage- ideally in the areas of housing, injunctions, nuisance and homelessness. Experience in local authority prosecutions and advocacy in both civil and criminal courts would also be very advantageous. This is a very exciting and diverse role for an experienced litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years` experience, offering the successful candidate a good salary package and genuine career progression. THE CANDIDATE
You must have vast knowledge and experience of Civil and Criminal procedures, and be able to take upon cases under minimal supervision. You must be a hardworking, strategic thinker with an enthusiastic, positive approach. You must be able to manage and prioritise and heavy workload whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
